GBHCW Proposed Rules Available for Public Comment

The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce (GBHCW) intends to amend its rules and regulations, which are now available for public comment. Please review the prosed rules and procedure for submitting a comment below:

Chapter 195-14 Dental Loan Repayment Program

Chapter 195-15 Physician Assistants (PA) Loan Repayment Program

Chapter 195-16 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) Loan Repayment Program

Chapter 195-25 Georgia Physician Education Loan Repayment Program

Chapter 195-26 Georgia Dental Education Loan Repayment Program

Rules and Regulations of the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce are being amended.  The information is posted at www.healthcareworkforce.georgia.gov or may be reviewed during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, (except for official State  holidays), at the office of the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce, 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, NE, East Tower, 11th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30334.

Any interested person wishing to make objections or present their views on this action to the Board may do so in writing no later than July 14, 2025 or make comments at the public hearing during the July 24, 2025 GBHCW Board meeting being held at Coffee Regional Medical Center, 1101 Ocilla Road, Douglas, Georgia 31533. Comments may be directed to Chet Bhasin, Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce, 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, SE, East Tower – 11th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30334. Comments may be received by the Board via e-mail to [email protected].

The Board intends to adopt the Rules at the July 24, 2025 Board meeting following any public comment.
