Loan Repayment Programs – Updates & Important Dates

Application Deadline Extended: FY27 Loan Repayment Programs

The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce is aware of a technical issue affecting the Notarized Loan Repayment application submission portal. Some applicants have been unable to submit their applications, and we are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

To give all applicants a fair opportunity to apply, the application cycle has been extended to Friday, October 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

We will post an update here once the submission portal is working again. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

If you have questions or experienced an issue while submitting, please contact Alexandria Dave-Moses by emailing [email protected]

How to Apply

  1. Select your program. Visit the Loan Repayment Portal and choose the program you'd like to apply for. Applying to more than one program? Submit a separate application for each.
  2. Save your application. After submitting, you'll be prompted to download and/or print a copy for your records, we strongly encourage you to do this. A confirmation email with a copy of your application will also be sent to you.
  3. Get notarized. Take your application to a notary. Use the coversheet beforehand to confirm all required materials are included.
  4. Submit your notarized application along with all documents requested on Coversheet. Upload your complete, notarized application and other documents requested on the Coversheet through the Notarized Submission Portal (link also provided in your confirmation email). Use the coversheet again here to double-check everything is included before you submit to ensure a complete application.
