GBPW publishes 2018 medical student, resident exit surveys
During its quarterly meeting on October 25, the Georgia Board for Physician Workforce voted to publish its annual exit survey results of Georgia medical school graduates and resident physicians completing training at Georgia graduate medical education programs.
Every year, the GBPW surveys graduates from Georgia's five medical schools to give insight on why medical students choose a specialty or residency site and how many intend to ultimately practice in Georgia. Additionally, the GBPW surveys residents who are completing their graduate medical education training to gather data about projected practice plans and highlight the supply and demand for new physicians throughout the Peach State.
