GBHCW Data Team Supervisor Achieves Ph.D.!

We are thrilled to announce that our Data Team Supervisor, Leanna Greenwood, PhD., has received her doctorate in Sociology! Her dissertation research focused on refugee resettlement in Atlanta. She conducted interviews with 30 resettled refugee women living in Atlanta, exploring their experiences with mobility during their resettlement.

Leanna's dedication, hard work, and passion for learning have been truly inspiring. She leads our data team and manages GBHCW growing data projects, including designing and distributing our many surveys, presenting data analyses to various audiences coordinating with licensing Boards and State Agencies.

Leanna is an integral part of developing and updating our healthcare workforce visualization dashboards with Georgia Data Analytics Center (GDAC). These interactive dashboards examine the supply and distribution of Georgia's actively practicing physicians, physician assistants, nurses, dentists, and dental hygienists using data from license renewals.
