Rural Simulation Mannequin Grant Program
The Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce is pleased to announce that applications are currently being accepted for the Rural Simulation Mannequin Grant Program, a new funding opportunity through Georgia's GREAT Health Program to support the expansion and enhancement of nurse training programs across rural Georgia.
This program represents a substantive investment in expanding nurse training capacity in Georgia Board of Nursing approved training programs. The Board anticipates awarding 5 (five) grant awards, contingent upon funding availability, quality of applications, and approval of applicant scope. Individual awards will be up to $90,000 each.
Funding may be used for simulation equipment, consumable supplies, faculty training, scenario software and development, and service contracts and technical assistance and may include virtual reality simulation when coupled with the purchase of a physical simulation mannequin.
Applications are due November 13th, 2026.
